Time and time again, we receive inquires from prospective brides with extremely unrealistic budgets.

Brides will inquire for MEW’s ‘Full Service Wedding Planning’ with a total wedding budget of $10 – $15,000 . . . on top of the fact that they would like to accommodate 200+ guests, and to really top it off, in one of the greatest cities in the world — New York City!

Trust owner Michelle Elaine, if she had the capabilities to pull fabulous weddings out of a magical hat, then your wish would be granted, but unfortunately, everything costs money, regardless of simplicity or extravagance.

AND, when you want your wedding in New York City, the only option is extravagance!

I am filled with joy, and quite usually tears of happiness, after reading the kind words written about me. I feel as if I have my very own cheerleading squad and I’m constantly making touch downs!

It’s an honor and privilege to wake up every morning and LOVE what I do! Thank you again to ALL of my clients, you know exactly who you are and the world of difference that you have each made on my growing business & success!

Goodbye 2013 . . . Hello 2014!

As I reflect on 2013 and look forward at 2014 I can’t help but be proud, happy & excited with tears {of joy} in my eyes! Michelle Elaine Weddings has come SO far since 2011 and it is just proof that when you want something so bad and work very, very hard for it, that your dreams will eventually become reality!

Starting my own business & working for myself has been a blessing, but it wouldn’t ever be a blessing without me behind it! Not to “toot my own horn” but I’ve had many a sleepless nights, cried many tears, lifted, carried and transported items that weigh more than I do, amidst a LONG list of insane tasks/projects I’ve put myself through to ensure perfection on each couples special day . . . it’s been a rough road but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world!

If you want to own a business & put your name in lights then you must be three things: Passionate, Hard Working and Dedicated!

Kim & Seth were two of the most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When Kim called in the late Spring seeking assistance for her Fall wedding I knew that we were going to have a blast working together. I honestly feel like I made a long time friend! I am constantly blessed with the most amazing couples and families. Seth had me laughing every time I saw him, it’s no wonder Kim said “Yes!” and “I do!” Kim & Seth are more than meant to be, coming from warm and beautiful families full of love, wishing them endless years of love and laughter which we know they will already have!

New York Times Fashion + Style!

Had an exciting treat delivered via email tonight! I had NO idea that I was in the New York Times Fashion & Style for the NYC Marathon!  Thanks to a friend, this is what was found & I am SO excited to share it with all of you!!!

My 5:31:21 finish time was too slow for the paper but happy that my marathon fashions made it online! 😉
